The legally binding commitment of funds in the call for funding expired on December 31, 2024 as planned. The call for funding is currently being revised. As soon as the necessary information is available from the European Commission and the budget has been approved by the monitoring committee, an adapted call for funding will be published.
For the time being, no consultations can be held nor new project applications can be submitted.

Who can make an application in the AMIF?

Applications for project funding from the AMIF are open to legal entities under private or public law as well as partnerships and international organizations. Natural persons are excluded from AMIF funding.

Which documents must be submitted with the application?

Please see below for an overview of the documents to be submitted. Details are provided in the Call for Proposals.

A complete application including all attachments contains the following documents:

  • Application form,
  • Overall budget including all necessary register sheets,
  • Proof of legal form (not required for legal persons under public law):
  • Proof of power of representation
  • Proof of solvency of the applicant's organization (not required in the case of legal entities under public law)
  • Bank confirmation (in German) as proof of the applicant's account ownership,
  • For projects implemented in or with third countries or EU Member States, always:
  • Proof of approval by the third country/EU Member State (national level) in which or with which the project is implemented,
  • For cooperation projects: Cooperation and on-lending agreement (in German) (where already available),
  • For co-financing: Co-financing commitment or corresponding letter of intent from the co-financing agency (where already available),
  • If applicable, further documents such as Staff Allocation Directive for the Project, form for proportional rent calculation (in German) (see notes in the financial plan), where already available.

The AMIF Managing Authority will request additional documents if necessary.
