ITSI is the IT system for the management of European internal funds for Germany. It is used by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt) and the Federal Police (Bundespolizei).

ITSI provides a digitized process for the transparent, swift and low-threshold management of AMIF funding in the funding period 2021-2027. The digital application is a mandatory requirement pursuant to Section 3 subs. 2 of the Funding Directive and offers the following advantages:

• Direct communication option with the AMIF Managing Authority
• Simplification of the application process
• Reduction of errors through validation by the system
• Accelerated project processing

How do I register in ITSI?

Registration has a two-tier structure for security reasons. Registration is required both in ITSI and in the Delegated User Management (Delegierte Benutzerverwaltung, DeBeV) of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. The latter allows you to register and manage additional ITSI users for your organization. In the first step, you register your organization in ITSI by entering the required data.

After successful registration in ITSI, you will receive the link for the Delegated User Management (DeBeV) and your DeBeV registration code by post. Once you have entered the registration code and your email address, you will receive an activation code by email. Using this, you can register as an administrator for your organization in DeBeV by providing your personal information. This is a one-time process.

Once successfully registered, the administrator of the DeBeV account can create additional users for an organization in ITSI.
Attention: The administrator is not automatically unlocked for the ITSI application but must unlock themselves for login in ITSI via the menu item ‘Benutzer übernehmen’ (Take over user).
